Als Systemadministrator hat man Zugang zum Administrationsbereich von Mongo Management Studio. In der oberen Menüleiste gibt es dafür den Button "Administration". Im Administrationsbereich hat man Zugriff auf das Rechtssystem der Anwendung. Man sieht alle Gruppen, Rechte, Rollen und Benutzer. Über den Link "Start" in der linken Navigationsleiste gelangt man zurück zum Mongo Management As a system administrator, you have access to the administration area of Mongo Management Studio via the button "Administration" in the top menu bar. In the administration area you have access to the legal system of the application. You can see all groups, rights, roles, and users. With a click on the link "Home" in the left navigation bar you come back to Mongo Management Studio.

Groups

Groups are a collectionaccumulation of users. You can assign roles to a group. Each user can be in one or more groups. After the installation of Mongo Management Studio there are no groups yet.

Roles

Eine Rolle ist ein Sammlung von Rechten. Es gibt die 3 Systemrollen A role is a list of rights. There are three system roles (Admin, Guest und User. Diesen kann man einzelne Rechte zuweisen und entfernen. Zusätzlich wird während der Installation die Rolle "UsersWithAccess" angelegt. Diese Rolle enthält alle Rechte, welcher ein User zur Benutzung der Anwendung benötigt. Sie sollte auf keinen Fall gelöscht werden.

User

Eine Liste aller Benutzer der Anwendung. Standardmäßig gibt es immer den User guest. Man kann die Benutzer bearbeiten und deren Rechte, Rollen und Gruppen ändern. Ebenso kann man einen Nutzer inaktiv setzen, oder komplett aus der Anwendung löschen.

Benutzer registrieren sich selbst in der Anwendung

Hierbei registrieren sich die Benutzer selbst in der Anwendung. Der Ablauf ist hier beschrieben: Registrierung. Dabei haben sie aber nach erfolgreicher Registrierung noch keine Rechte in der Anwendung. Dazu muss erst der Systemadministrator den Benutzern die Rolle "UsersWithAccess" zuweisen.

Benutzer werden vom Systemadministrator angelegt

Der Systemadministrator navigiert in den Administrationsbereich und öffnet die Übersicht der Benutzer. Dort gelangt man mit Klick auf das + Icon zum Formular "Benutzer anlegen". Jetzt füllt man alle Felder aus. Wichtig ist, den User der Rolle "UsersWithAccess" zuzuweisen und den Benutzer auch aktiv zu setzen. Man könnte die Rechte aber auch einzeln vergeben. Nach dem Speichern ist der Benutzer angelegt.

User

A list of all users of the application. By default, there's always the user guest. You can edit the users and change their rights, roles, and groups. Also you can set a user inactive or completely delete from the application.

Users register themselves in the application

At this point  the users register themselves in the application. The procedure is described here: Registrierung. However, they do have no rights in the application after successful registration, first the system administrator must assign only the role "UsersWithAccess" to users.

Users are created by the system administrator

The system administrator navigates to the administration area and opens the overview of the users. Open the form "Create user" by clicking on the + icon to fill all fields.  It is important to assign the user to the role "UserWithAccess" and to set the user active. You could assign the rights individually as well. After saving the user is created.
